Wrote off my Ek9

Hey guys well as the title says thats what happened :angry2: Was a while back in March on a cold icey road around 11pm when i was going round a corner a lovely deer decided to run out infornt of me. So not wonting to hit the thing i turned out the way very quickly ending up hitting the kurb at the other side putting the car into a spin. then it was up on the grass which was like a sheet of ice, down a hill with a wee roll on the way down and through a farmers fence but landing back on all wheels :)). Unfortunatly the car was bye bye as the pillars and roof were fooked so the insurance wrote it off.
After weeks of arguing with this insurance person who thought she knew a great deal about cars (£3000 is a fair offer) I THINK NOT! i finally managed to settle on £5400 after putting up the biggest fight i think they have ever had (this was admiral btw) so not a bad result plus i got the car back for £400 lol. Basically i only got the car back about a month ago and have been taking bits off it.

Just letting you guys know that soon there will be loads of ek9 parts up for grabs so tell all your family and friends. Ill even post up some pictures of the before and after the accident. Keep your eyes open will be up probably around middle of next week when am off work....Irn Bru doesnt make itself! lol

hence the spamming since the crack of dawn this morning, sorry to hear bout the car and that but all that spamming to get you the 100 posts so you can sell **** is out of order man !

Just wont to say sorry for all the wrong doing that i have done other the last couple of days i fully understand what i have been doing was wrong and should not of taken advantage of the site.

I was doing this to reach the number of posts that was required i havent really posted comments since i was a member since last year. but when i found out that i needed a certain amount i went a bit mentle to say the least and am sorry for posting random comments on peoples threads and fully accept what the moderators do to my spamming.

Ignoring the very obvious spamming; You've won the insurance lottery! £5400 for the car and then around £4000 in parts that's almost £10,000 pounds for the car!

Hmm admiral you say. That seems like a low first offer!! Well, kind of expected. I am insured with them at the minute. Seems a good deal buying it back for £400 though, what a steal! Do you have to pick it up from them or will they deliver?
 
Unfortunalty it doesnt work out like £5400 i have to take off the £400 for my car, the rest of my insurance for the year which they charge you....scam and then my excess so was only left with £3800 however selling the parts will make the money part i paid for the car easy.
As for getting my car back they delivered it for free as i was told it wouldnt be moving out of Scotland but instead it was in Middlesburgh so again a quick call to Admiral and demanded to speak to a manager and threatin him with legal action he waved the £100 that it would of cost me to get it delivered back and was at my home within a few days.

Word of advice guys if use have a smash then if your not getting anywhere with ur claims handler ask to speak to their manager and they will quickly put up ur offer. it took me over a month to get my car back to me but i couldnt settle on there crap offers.
 
Do You work at barrs in cumbernaould ?
Saw a nice ek there few month back .
Btw if you are selling parts pm me when you no whats for sale .
