was thinking of doing a wire tuck dose any one have any info -pics how hard a job or any advice would be great thanks:thanks:

id love to have this done correct... some sorta guide wud b nice :) im talkin photos the heap... photoshop them or even use microsoft paint to draw arrows to show what goes where to keep the rest of us rite! lol

I'll get some pics once i EVENTUALLY start work on my car :wow:

Not going wild, just tucking the headlight looms in the inner wings to unclutter the bay a bit

Will be depinning the ABS connectors when i ditch them to get rid of un needed wiring

Its just common sense really mate, take a look at the wires you wanna hide, then look at where you'll be able to hide them.

Once you've done that, cut the wires near the connector, break out you're spare wire, soldering iron & solder and join the like for like colours, creating an extension (dont forget to heat shrink and soldered joints).

Then just re-route the wires where you'd previously planned. Expect to hit a few snags, learn a few lessons, and have fun doing it!!

guessing its not a weekend job? :( wont b easy to get the time t do it :( "IF" i go through with the whole engine swap next year (again "IF" lol b4 any1 quotes me on that, cant b bothered listenin to the whole "thought i said u wer..." thing if i dont manage t get it done) ill maybe work at the loom b4 i get it put in... prob a better idea waiting so i dont have to do it twice lol

it lot harder then you think. it takes time because u have extend every wire and solider them back and loom it. some people say it easy.

more time consuming than hard then? any1 able to give a rough estimate on the time it would take 1st attempt doin it?

think il maby give it ago in the new year. dont think it would be hard just time taking if im gona do it it wil be done rite just do one bit at a time

Wire tuck is just for looks i think.it looks cool anyway but
if something goes wrong at electrics and needs repair what can be done then?

most electric problems are componints not the wires and when it is the wires its mainly because they have been striped and are hiting the body or other strped wires when you are doin the tuck make sure they are not striped and well insulated then you wont have that prob

Same way you would fix the electrical fault if you never had a tuck

You're only hiding the wiring, not making it dissapear
