which flywheel is better?

go ITR flywheel.

I would only do that if I drove my car in non-stop, stop and go traffic, every freaking single day - otherwise the stock ITR flywheel imho, is not a good match for the motor's inherent manic personality.

iv just purchased the 4.4kg f1 flywheel so in the process of fitting it. i can let u know what is like when its in??

Surely if you are in the process of fitting said item you will find out for yourself???

cr-mo is much "stiffer" then alu...just take a look at top brands what mats they use on flywheels ;)

@ITR - I guess not much difference, if you dont want very light FW, you can get ACT streetlite

my fidanza is 3.3kg

will be swapping it over tommorow night with a matched flywheel and clutch kit

ORC 309

my civic is a bit of an animal through the revs with the fidanza but alas i need a new clutch and cant use the fidanza with the ORC clutch assembly

will also be for sale shortly

only covered maybe 6 or 7000 kilometres of daily driving, no hashing

id be able to get an exedy or cusco one

i know someone that deals with fidanza, could try speaking to him and seeing what he could do for me

if the fidanza weighs only 3.3kg whats the drive like. i was looking at one that weighed 4.4kg and it said it affected the drivability of the car. as im a dumb ass i didnt really understand how??

The revs will drop alot quicker, when pulling away from a stand still it will require more revs

again, what's the issue with high quality aluminum? So Chromo is "stiffer," I can admit that, but it's not like you're going to feel the flex of the flywheel through the clutch pedal like you would feel if the springs on your dampers are stiff enough to handle the bumps and dips in the road.

Simply quoting what the top brands use is not a valid enough reason for this application. Case in point, the black Spoon N1 dampers in their heyday were considered by many to be one of the best dampers on the market and yet they were made using steel bodies where many of the TOP dampers in the world like Ohlins, Penske, Moton insist on using aluminum.
