Hi guys I'm going to be selling my civic soon as I've bought a lexus Is200 and I don't have the space to keep my civic anymore
I'd like to know roughly how much it would be worth as it sits, I'd rather loose a bit and sell it as a whole rather than breaking it
1999 Honda Civic Fusion
It is registered as a 1.4 still but has a d16z6 swap in it, I did the swap my self and everything ran as it should, Vtec engages fine.
Engine had all new belts, water pump, thermostat and supertech valve stem seals when it was put in late November. It's been serviced twice since then. I've done around 4k since doing the swap and I've not had any major problem with it
I have lots of history/receipts/orginal manuals for the car and 2 keys
I was told the d16z6 engine was on 78k when I bought it, the chassis is on 90,975
Engine
-D16z6, gearbox, drive shafts
-Exedy stage 1 clutch
-P28 ecu running OBD 1
-New Silicone hose kit
-New radiator
-Long arm cold air intake
-Few other little things like the:
-Vtec solenoid cover
-Oil cap
-Battery holder.
Exterior
-Racing logic hyper Street fully adjustable coilovers (32 way dampening)
-Skunk 2 lower control arms
-Front mugen splitter
-Rear type r splitter
-3 inch neochrome exhaust (custom decat)
-Will be on standard steels or for £350 I have another set of Freshly refurbed 7.5j all round Borbet A on Toyo proxes with roughly 3-4mm on them
Interior
-Toyota celica seats
-Rear seats/belts removed (still have them)
-Omp rep wheel with a slim boss
-Short shifter
-Neo chrome gear knob
-Type r pop out cupholders
-Blue mats
-All the dial and heater controls have blue LEDs
Still have all the old stock parts except the 1.4 engine, i have a near new clutch for the 1.4 and the gearbox aswell
Bad points
-The rear arches have been rolled to fit the wheels so paint has cracked
-The front bumper has been pushed in on the front left and has a few scratches from the previous owner
-The sides have small dents along them (mainly on the doors) however this has never bothered me.
-Small bit of rust coming through on drivers side at the back above the side skirt
-The main issue is the d16z6 has started running on 3 cylinders, I'm unsure why as I have not taken the head off yet, I did a compression check on cylinder 1- 170 psi, 2- 40 psi, 3- 90 psi, 4- 170 psi
-The engine was burning oil/smoking in vtec.
-It still starts and drives fine (engine management light is NOT on) it will Ideally need the head taking off and looking at. I suspect it's a burnt valve/s however I don't have the time to confirm this.
