what the best spray paint to paint an engine block

as above iam wanted to paint my new engine up before it goes in my car

You can get paint to withstand the heat lad. Get it in most car paint shops...

Think the lads down in my local garage use a silver type paint, made by Würth, to paint blocks and gearboxes.

Hycote make a good quality engine enamel, seen the results on a mates car and he's had no issues, aslong as the engine is de-greased before spraying you should be fine

IMO painted engines look rubbish in about a year, then your stuck with it.

Hammerite works wonders, painted all my engine blocks and gearboxes over the years with no issues at all.
