as above iam looking to get a new exhaust for my teg,i had my heart set on a twin loop as i love the sound but looking into it it would seem that are quite restrictive ,i want a system that will increase hp but not to loud, dont wanna look like a chav!

any help would be grate

Depends on how far your looking to tune the engine?
If your just doing bolt ons and a map then a twin loop isn't going to be massively restrictive as it would on a fully forged 240hp setup.
Can always go custom and have a repackable silencer like mine? It's thin wall 2.5" ID with a repack rear box and a cherry bomb style silencer in the middle. Tests at like 95db static and still isn't as restrictive as a twin loop.

ok,i take that on board, i just want the best i can get for my money really, i do love the twin loop

APEXI WS2 is another system that aint loud.

Backbox also is nice shape and not like a sewer pipe, run one on my civic.

i still say it makes no difference.

Do agree to an extent.
Stock exhaust is what 2.25"? enough to flow 190 odd hp in the stock form. So any decently made exhaust that's a bigger bore than that isn't going to be massively restrictive for a mildly tuned b18.

Its not got any scrapes or dents on it thats why its a little more, make me an offer if you like, i want it gone by the weekend.

yeh i had 98 spec manifold, decat and mugen twinloop. was a great exhaust, and made such a good noise on song with the mugen airbox!
