What brands do semi slicks?

has any one tried the Federal RSR semi slick tires?? iv heard some good things but dont know anyone thats used them??

Khumo V70A.
Dunlop Direzza.
Avon ZZR.

BCUK are now sponsored by Federal and they have something Paul Hughes seems to rate also, tested at Snetterton recently.

We will have some special deals on these very soon the feds will be roughly £70 a corner available only through Buddyclub Uk

federal RSR are used by the driftworks s15, plus a friend of mine with a 605bhp twin turbo 350z is currently testing a few sets at knockhill.

they get good write ups on the MLR with the evos, used by a few guys in the sprint racing

they are a good competator to the r888's at a fraction of the cost

available from me to anyone interested, send me a PM

still working on being able to supply yokohamas also

r88`s are 100 a corner now? feck me i paid 56quid a corner for mine a couple years ago,

Neovas are fine in the wet, as are the R1-R. By the way, T1-Rs are in no way comparable to the R1-Rs. Totally different compound.

R888s are favoured by me because I've used a couple of sets on my Elise already. 10-15 trackdays and also road use give about a years' of trouble free driving time. I am now considering Federal SS-595 RS-R as an even cheaper alternative. So I hope to be able to let you know in the near future.

Dont bother too much about those old models.

Look out for the 2010 models.

Semi Slicks
Advan A050

For a street semi slick
Hankook R-S3
Bridgestone RE-11
Advan neova AD08

For Serious Competition
Dunlop DZ03G

jugbugz we will never see them tyres in this county unless we import.
I would so love a set of RE-11S' but the cost to get them is just to much.

damn! lol

Theyre coming out this month in AU. I just wonder how the RE-11S will fair against the 'King' Dunlop DZ03G

I have a set of RE-11 sitting in the corner. It just makes me feel that my current RE001 tyres aint wearing out fast enough.

I want them on ASAP !!!! :((

if you want good tires, you need to pay :) We have ~86gbp for them (15")
I am runing toyo R1R and R888.

Its quite easy to overheat both tires. R888 gives maybe the best grip on dry surface but not least long. R1R is compromise, universal tire so no problems @ rain and dry surface, higher endurance than 888 but not that grip...so its about preferences

would you class the RS2`s better than toyo T1R`s ?

Without question, RS2 are a far superior tyre. All T1R's could be classes as are a good budget tyre tbo.
Not putting the T1R down, have owned them myself but there are many better tyres out there if your willing to spend the money
