Personally I'd just go up and tell him if refunds are not sorted soon he will be taken to he small claims court then we'll see if he takes any action
 
If anyone wants it pm me, I'm sure if a few of us turn up at his door he might realise that it's pretty serious!!

If he doesn't have the money there is no point taking him to small claims court. And be careful about posting the guys address if it is going to cause serious trouble, if anyone does something stupid

Was it a deliberate theft or just a deal gone wrong? Is the original thread still up?

That's why I won't post on here Incase **** it's the fan! Threads been deleted now. But think the first group buy is floating around somewhere..

If he doesn't have the money then what is the point in this thread? I read the thread, maybe what went wrong was true or he was just scamming everybody from the start but regardless he is still trading on other forums so he must have some money around him

My thoughts exactly. Only reason why I started this thread was to get all the people he owes money in one place, get amounts he owes etc...just mainly to organise it and then go from there.

MLD...I agree, which is why I haven't been to the SCC. But maybe that was all lies to try and ensure we don't take him to the SCC. I don't know, his story just seems a little...fishy
 
Maybe the best course action is for somebody to compose a letter explaining how much he owes each individual person and if action isn't taken soon it will go further then get a local member as such to deliver it
 
He owes me £495 for the deposit on 1 bonnet and 2 tailgates

as said above its pointless taking him to small claims court, cos if he then has to pay us back and he hasnt got any funds it will be something stupid like £5 a month untill the debt gets paid off which is pointless, and then he can start up another company the next day.

i just whish he was in contact more, i felt for him when he lost alot over xmas and stuff but getting online is not that hard anymore you can still access ek9.org on a smart phone.

if he reported on the forum every couple of days or so just to give us updates like BLOGGS1234 i will have your money by next week and then SMITH1234 i will have yours 2 weeks after that etc etc....... im sure it would make us feel better.

also has anyone seen the pics of these so called damaged parts???
 
he put up pictures of the tailgates on his twitter 40 odd days ago. so i cant see why he cant get those sent out at least.
 
He kept telling me my bonnet was in his possession, awaiting delivery. And then it just became excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't send it out until he eventually just stopped replying to my pm's/emails. Even when he was online here, he'd still ignore them.

I'm a bit late to the thread but what's happening with this now? Has this been a straight up scam? Surely he can be tracked down if thts the case and then police can get involved. I'm owed £330 for a deposit for Bonnet and tailgate.
 
He seems to be fairly active with twitter and the renault stuff

nice to see he's using all your money to bring out new parts! I luckily didn't buy any parts, but might I suggest you all organising a convoy down to his address/unit and confronting him face to face?

as much as this is what anybidy would do in a normal fair world, my dad had a campervan in for restoration at a bodyshop and they asked us to pay the 10k and once the money cleared we could take it however once it cleared they did not give it to us and so i took down a few of the boys and got it sorted. when i called the police previously they said we would have to go to small claims summons :blabla:
 
I luckily did not put a deposit down on a bonnet even tho i thought about it.

But if he has ripped off all you guy's. I can only imagine he is trying to "devolop" new product for the Clio boy's so he can take there deposits and never actually get the products to them. But that's just me :nerv:
 
This is daft. At least there is some hope as he's not disappeared off the face of the earth unlike the hong kong spoiler guy that ripped a few of us off.

Hope it gets sorted and I think someone should really warn the French car fans.
