Waterless coolant

I don't know anyone that runs it tbh. I'm happy with good old water lol the amount of times I take my radiator off etc I'd get through abit of cash with waterless

Has anyone run waterless coolant in there honda !
If so ,is it worth it or is it just gimmick?
Or do you think the good old fashioned water coolant
Is good enough?

All the best lee

Ive always used genuine honda type2 coolant, at the top of my head i think honda reccomend changing every 60k miles. As mentioned dont fix what aint broke and honda have put their stamp on type2 for a reason.

I've tried it in one Honda, the engine ran hotter with the waterless coolant than the Honda premixed coolant so best stick with the Honda coolant.

I was thinking the same as you guys,
I thought it was just a money making gimmick,

I've tried it in my old Honda. Can't say it was any better. It's supposed to be less corrosive on components. The only thing I did notice was that it doesn't pressurise the system like water does.
But for the money it costs I'd say stick to good ol faithful antifreeze mix.

Yeah its very expensive considering that most people
With our kind of cars like working on them as such,
And would tally up costs quick,
What I like about it thou is that it does
Not pressure the system,
But that's the only thing!

Thanks for a help guys . As I always was wondering if it is a good choice or just some moneymaking products. So I will just stick with whats I got atm as its not bad. Was just trying to make it easier for an engine lol.
