Water ingress into passenger door

I did search and after 6 pages I didn't see anyone with the same issue...

I was fafing about with the door card off and heard a fairly regular dripping into the door. I couldn't see any leaks, but clearly there is at least one. Also, I can assume that the drain holes are nicely blocked, so, besides getting on my back, is there an "easy" way to check / unblock them, and any idea on possibilities for the water ingress?

All cars i've owned have done this, thing they are meant to do it? as long as the drain holes aren't blocked there shouldn't be a problem.

It would be a good idea to get down there with some pointy tool, unblock them if they're blocked.

Water is supposed to pass through the inside of the door on most cars. As long as its not pooling in the bottom then there is no problem.

Got a little pooling and Ima need to treat the inside of the door pretty sharpish too as its starting to show rust. So, no way to know where the holes are except to get on my arse?
