Had water in my boot so i took the rear lights out sealed around the gaskets and took bumper off and cleaned the vents under rear lights! went back out next day to have a look after a lot off rain and still getting water in from the right hand side. Any ideas what else i can try?

dude u need to properly seal around the vents underneth the light so i suggest u take the vents off and put alotts of sillicon on it

Can also be cracks in the seam sealer just above the lights. Best thing to do is take out the rear interior panels and it should be fairly evident where it's coming from. I was lucky with mine as it was just the rear light seals, but I took the panels off to check there was nothing else to seal.

i took everything out car, back seats plastics etc. Could only see little bit off water on light gasket. Will go take lights out again and seal them better, also the vents.

took plastics, bumper off again, Shut the boot put a bucket off water over it and then opened! then found where is was coming from, Right enough it was the vents under lights.

I had this in my old ek9, it was the gaskets behind the tail lights for me bought them from honda for a good price fit them easy and problem solved!

just bought a ek9 and its leaking in the boot need to get some new boot seals has anyone tried that black lamp sealer that comes factory on some cars its like a black pu sealer but it never sets it means you can remove your lights without too much trouble

just get the lights and vents cleaned up and put a load of silicon sealant on the gaskets! they should never have to come off anyway unless you smash them!

i need this done, good info guys! I've left a high absorbant sponge in the boot cause i'm just too lazy to get it done! Sometimes it doesn't leak and sometime's it does. Car has a mind of its own lol

Exactly what i needed to know, im always coming out to a puddle in my boot every morning :( Will get this done asap :)

managed to get mine all sealed up had some serious rain over the last few days and no water it took me a couple of trys though, i found my biggest problem was the seam sealer on the back of the car was shrinking and cracking behind the tail lights and where the rear quarter joins the back panel it didn't look much but thats where the water was getting in so i just cleaned up the cracks and rubbed some white tiger seal in and re fitted the rear lights all sealed now no damp anywhere and my car smells so much better no more wet boot carpet. i even took the boot carpet off and put it through the washing machine when my lass wasn't looking :))
