Fit like (means hello where I'm from
My names Matthew but everyone calls me Maz,
I am just riding my 2010 Yamaha R6 just now and dont have the EK9 YET .... But I will soon
I had a EJ9 Civic as my first car a few years ago, it was a comet blue 1.4. As I was 17 at the time I did all of the yob/delinquent/youth like modifications to it haha. I chopped the springs with a grinder to lower it as I was a first year apprentice so couldn't afford the coilovers or even lowering springs at the time haha, I got a set of Civic Jordan alloys on it, I had the huge subwoofers and all of the speakers and new head unit in etc, STUPIDLY BIG EXHAUST! Was like 5.5 inch outlet (totally ridiculous I know now haha). My favourite modification though which I am still proud of today was that instead of being like everyone else with a civic that put the recaros in - I went that extra mile and got a set of S2000 seats the blue suede in the middle matched the colour of the car and then black leather on the sides was nice ! I'll get a few photos up when I get on the computer as I'm on my phone just now.
AAAAAAAAAAANYWAAY..... I want to get behind the wheel of a civic again and seen as Ive wanted a EK9 since I had my first civic I thought I'd check
Insurance etc and now that I'm away to qualify from my apprenticeship and its coming up for my 21st I am Going to treat myself !!
I want it to be perfect, don't want to see any bad bits really, no rusty arches etc, preferably a fresh(ish) import as I've been reading up and usually they are the cleanest. Preferably quite low mileage as well obviously.
I think I could get a really nice on for between £5500 and £6500 . Maybe stretching to £7k at a push if it looked like it had just rolled off the showroom tiles.
So that's my story and that's what I want the forum I use for my Yamaha has been extremely useful and friendly so I'm sure you lot will be just as helpful and nice .
Vtec yooooooooooooooooooo!!!
