Booked Blyton again for this Sunday, hoping the weather clears up for then!
Spent the evening fitting the clockwise sump baffles and removing the power steering setup. Found myself with is switched off 99% of the time anyway, so decided it might as well come off. It wouldn't have cleared the boost pipes when the turbo goes on anyway!
So if anybody's after an electro/hydraulic pas setup, give me a shout - I've got one going spare
Blyton was fun again! Was up late Saturday night fiddling with the geo - tried a new setup which I really enjoyed. Shaved nearly 2 seconds off my best lap there, so something was definitely right!
I'm feeling the need for more stopping power though, so may look at an upgrade in that department, don't want to go bigger than 15" wheels though.
That'll probably be the last use it gets in a while as the turbo build will be starting shortly.
Spec list currently looks something like this, parts in brackets are waiting to go on or made etc
Chassis:
- Meister Zeta R with 14/12 Spring rates
- Hardrace front camber arms
- Hardrace rear camber arms
- Hardrace rear toe arms
- Powerflex Black series bushes
- DC2 running gear up front
- Alcon front calipers
- Pagid blue pads
Cannot wait for you to start the turbo build. very very impressive stuff.
also love the pictures above, one shows you entering a corner behind a TVR then the next shows you in front of it If thats isn't a representation of how good the car is i don't know what is.
Unless he is slow and this is laps after haha. but still very cool stuff dude, very enjoyable to read through.
Thanks. I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in to it. Really going to go to town on this - will be nice to get to work on one of my own cars for a change!
I've just had a parcel turn up from the states which should contain the last few components needed for the manifold to go together, so will be able to make a start very soon.
