URGENT HELP REQUIRED !

Guys wondering if anyone could help me,

Just got the crankshaft replaced and bearings as well as piston rings but the car feels sluggish and struggles vtec does not have a pull to it at all and also the oil light flickers. Car also just cuts out when coming to a stop at traffic
Lights.
What can be the cause i really need some help on this situation guys ?
 
might be a silly question but have you checked you oil level? Did you replace the old oil pump wen doing the other work?
 
I checked the oil level was slighly off the second dot so inl topped it up now exactly on the second dot and no the oil pump was not replaced
 
Who built it mate? were the tolerances checked?

I am not sure whether they were checked as i am not too clued up with stuff but they would have been as it went to a good garage

Take it back! ! I wouldn't even drive the car in its current state. It could more than one problem.
 
Take it you threw a bearing to have to replace the crankshaft?
If that's correct I'd want to change the oil pump with that kind of failure.
Oil light flickering can be a couple of things
Pump
Bearing clearance too large
Oil level too low

Sluggishness is abit harder to pin point tbh

Yeah I did throw a bearing but the oil pump was not changed
 
most likely the pump wasn't flushed out properly.
 
Good chance it's too late for the bearings and crank again. Another question for you, did the engine stall when you pressed the clutch?

At this stage it would probably be cheaper to get a decent second hand bottom end

what bearings were used?

id get a cheap oil press gauge first just to see whats going on

any strange noises on idle and light rev?
