Was looking at possibly getting the unichip from dastek. Does anyone have this or does anybody know of anyone having it and if its a worthwhile thing to do?

If the chip is generic meaning it is not tailored to your car by tuning it on a dyno, then don't do it.

if it can be tuned its only good if you have a tuner in your area that likes to tune them.

it manipulates sensor inputs to the stock ecu as a piggyback system. Shite IMO.
You can get an addon box for it but its really basic for the money.

PM me and Ill see what I can do for you. HONDATA :nice:

I have a Unichip in my car, it's a tuning tool, that's all.. The advantage is that every time you change a mode in your car you can take it to a Dyno and tune it.

there is a tuner quite near me so can get it tuned there, just heard they are supposed to be quite a good mod. they tune it specifically for your car but just wondered if the gains are worth it?

If your car is stock you can have gains but wont be very big. The hole idea behind it is to tune your car after you made some changes.

got mugen 4-1 manifold and twinloop cat back, was going to get j's racing induction kit then take it to get it tuned

It will be worth, the only thing I don't know is about the price and if you can find a cheaper option. For me was the best that I could have but you have to see if you can find something better and/or cheaper in your area.
