Hi Guys,

I thought I'd introduce myself as I familiarise myself with the EK.

I used to own an EP3:

That featured some extremely rare parts that I bought brand new from Japan.

I then moved on to a DC5:

This also featured many rare/authentic JDM parts..

However due to my wife expecting our second child - I sold it and pocketed the money for a bigger family car.

After thinking things through, I spoke to the missus and she agreed to me buying a cheaper project car to keep me busy during my spare time..

So I present my EK4:

- Rust-free shell.

Despite, a few chavvy mods, which I'm in the process of removing and returning to stock, it is a clean base with no rust (imperative) but rough round the edges nevertheless.

So what have I done?

Nuts must mean wheels right? - Mugen MF10L - as from the DC5, you'll note that I had MF10's on that too. MF10's are my most favourite wheel ever.

loved your old ep and dc5 :) by the looks of it the ek will turn out just as nice
 
OMG I'am in love with your ep3 .i would love to get 1 but cant bring my self to part with the ek9 .Very tasty parts on the ek9 any future plans ?
 
I remember the ep3 when I was more active on CTRO when I had my ep3. Lots of air walker Japan parts iirc :p

New Lip On:

It's likely to be temporary as I damaged my EK4/EK9 lip recently (gotta love living a low life lol).. but I'm quite liking the aggressiveness of the new CF item.

Think is I'm a sucker for genuine parts, and with this being a Spoon replica fabricated for FL, it doesn't feel quite as good, sadly. Can't fault it though.

You're spot on mate, as arrogant as that sounds (forgive me gang)... I avoid and despise replica parts at all costs. I'm only living this down as technically, Spoon didn't make a lip for the Facelift EK9, so technically it isn't a replica - because there isn't an orignal so to speak :)

Doesn't make it right though LOL.

I picked it up off of a very good mate for a bargain - and having destroyed my EK4/E9 Lip recently, I needed a Lip... all excuses aside, I actually like it - but it is a temporary measure, as I have a very rare JDM lip on the cards... I just have other things to tend to ATM...

It's not a BIGB Mikey, it's a VTi B16A2... it just sports an EK9 Cam-Cover... hence the "psyche" LOL.
 
Now then sun, ek is clean as, what happened to the old school cibic you bought?

Original paint Mag Blue SSR RF-Pro Firrenze. :D

I absolutely love them as a wheel, but I may sell them, as I'm just not sure on the look with Clover Green - and think my Mugen's look miles better.

Then again I might hoard them, as I've got a thing for rare parts/wheels.. and these are pretty rare, let alone in Mag Blue.

Colour doesnt go unfortunately!

i prefer the mugen's. i always will lol
 
Yeah... planning a respray after my new engine goes in.. The colour I have in mind, should go well with the SSR's... In anycase I still have my Mugens. MF10 > All wheels IMO.
