Hi EK9 Owners

After 3 years of wanting one, 1 year of talking of getting one and 3 months of looking I finally have my CTR CWE:

Honda Civic Type R Championship White Edition
Full Dealer Service History
1 owner from new
26000miles

Here is how it looked after driving 100 miles home:

Saturday afternoon it was washed 4 times and in between had different types of decontamintion: Autosmart Tardis, Iron X and clay:

Now the paint was squeeky clean:

It was then garaged for the next day, next morning measured the paint and then got onto the paint rectifcation.

With the paint 75% corrected I carried out the 3 stage Werkstat

I want a FN2!! congratulations!!! :D

Beautiful!!! :fapfap:

Nice fn2 buddy, interestingly I think I prefer it without the gp kit in white and I usually like the kit.

Haha I will hold back with the picture of the new Muuugen spoiler fitted :)

It does look clean without the GP kit.

Cheers John

Very nice, looks great in white. So after a year of ownership how do you find it? how does it feel compared to EP3, whats the mpg like.

It's awesome, don't get me wrong, as a drivers car there are better Honda's out there,BUT as an all round car it ticks every box and boxes it shouldn't, even as a five seater family car and easily taking 3 large suit cases when we went on holiday. It can do that, however also on a country lane with the LSD awake you can have some fun. When I think back to the EP3's I have owned in the winter months, well they were terrible for traction, instead the FN2 just grips.

MPG currently 29 mile per gallon.

P.s. One area I do miss is the EP3 gear change, considering it should be just the same, it doesn't have the great gear change of the EP3.

This can only be described as simply stunning, fair play mate. Detailing is second to none :nice:

car looks great after the clean, the iron remover is some stuff amazing to watch on a white car, stinks mind you

top job though !

Make sure you get a full fast road setup, it's a bit of a pain needing to shim the rears to get them right but completely changes the car. Absolute best thing you can do on the FN2.
I found the handling not great as standard, but now with this done it handles better than the ep3, high speed cornering is so much more stable. Me & 3x my friends all had ep3's and we all agree.

I carried out the full fast road set up with the camber bolts on the front, it didn't need shiming at the rear as it was already in spec. I did see an improvement on turn in, although I think -15mm Eibach springs are next on the list.

Cheers John

TypeRkits rear spoiler bolted on and my new Civinfo sticker (I'm sure it would be frowned upon if it was an EK9 sticker:) in pride of place. Thanks to the Untitled Document for the spray, lovely finish.
