Haha he is that he used to do hill climbs in a mk2 escort and was also a co-driver for a few years, so he enjoys a bit of speed.

Thank you guys for all the comments, there is still plenty more to come from the car, going to the trackday at knockhill next weekend so will see how the car performs again
 
Certainly looks very quick - but genuinly think it should be a bit quicker round there with 380hp. Looks like your doing 61/62s laps (going by the first cone in duffus). I would be hoping for 60s without traffic. And before anybody starts, in no way am i saying its slow, thats frightening quick for a Civic.

But who am i to say, i only managed 3 laps in my turbo EK before it didnt like Knockhill anymore. Will hopefully get it round the track more than that this year.

Top notch effort. Defo looks a handful, well done!
 
i would expect sub 60's easy, i was doing 62's with a 200bhp b16b :p

awesome car though mike, can't wait to see it with the brakes and coilovers fitted :D

Cheers steve! should make a big difference to the car round knockhill, cant wait to get round knockhill with the new parts on :nice:

Wow this cars come a long way since I saw it at a Tas meet a couple years back!

Youve fairly overhauled it! Car is also extremely clean bodywise too! Should see epic times with 9ers brakes and coilies! Will be pretty stiff too with them spring rates!

Yeah be good to meet up at Knockhill before the year is out, be good to have 2 boosted Hondas out at the same time:nice:

Wouldnt worry about lap times, atleast your out there doing it:clap:

Yeah thats for sure the car has came a long way since back then, was really cool seeing that pic of the car from back then :) as you said steves coilovers should make a huge difference round the track!

Haha it really didnt bother me to much he was just trying to give me some fatherly advice. Yeah would be sweet if we could get the two boosted hondas out on track, the sound of the two cars up the start/finish straight would be epic :nice:
