I have a set of Energy Suspension Engine Mount Inserts that is not in used because currently my car is equipped with a Spoon Torque Damper. Im planning to ditch the Spoon item and install the ES inserts. Any feedback from ES users? Should i do it or just stick with the Spoon damper?

why not just use both? i have the inserts and i love them.

Yeah use both but just remember they're a band aid to the real problem. Urethane factory mounts or aftermarket mounts are the way to go but are ofcourse alot more money

I have a HPI engine damper & the ES inserts. Not any problems at all. :nice:
Why only use the 1? Better safe than sorry. You will get a tiny bit of vibration, but it's bearable & worth it.

ETDs are a complete waste of time........

Remove your old engine mounts and inspect them for wear, if they are shot then no point in refitting them with the inserts, although if they are still in good nic then fit the inserts, should stiffen it up nicely :nice:

I quite liked my ETD, felt a big difference in gear changes.

But then again - i couldnt afford better engine mounts so it gave me a cheap alternative to a partially better set up
