throttle sticking????????

when sitting at idle andwhen you try to put your foot on the accelarator, it sticks for a second a requires a litte more effort to push down than normal, then when you give more pressure onto the pedal it jolts off, just wondering how to solve this problem before i do damage???

might be an option to remove disconnect throttle cable to make sure its free . if not then be a good idea to give the throttle body i good clean .

what engine you got and throttle body ??

its a b16a2, ek4 vti with an ek9 throttle body??

ok as said above make sure the throttle cable is free and if it is i would reccomend giving the tb a good clean out with intake cleaner making sure the butterfly is free and not clogged up a bit . let us know how you get on

any advice on disconnecting throttle cable, do you just undo the 11mm bolt on the throttle body thats holding the spring??? not sure???

make sure the idle screw is tight and not slack when off throttle

is that the bolt holdin on the throttle cable?? infront of the throttle body as ya look at it?

just tightened the throttle cable, you were right leek9^^ it was slack when off throttle so pulled her tighter and problem solved
