belter of a plate man but sadly ones like that dont fetch that much would be lucky to get between 3-£400 for it i would think, although you could fetch more as alot of people would like it :nice:

yea i love the plate mate i know wat ya mean about how much it worth and that but id probly keep it for that price and put it on mine wen its done

im having trouble at the min with the wire harness in my civic as the bloke before had a b18c6 and iv got a b18c4 and all plugs are different :0 any help mate?

Not sure if you can get a conversion harness for that, what car have you got ? and you have a b18c4 with a b18c6 harness right ?

its a 1996 ek3 and the bloke before put a b18c6 in it and he has made his own loom and has only one connector in there and no wires for ecu.. its confusing lol

wiring has never been my strong point either to be honest lol but think the b18c4 is obd1 and the c6 is obd2 so you will have to convert it to fit.

techys can confirm this....

This makes no sense at all.

A b18c6 in an EK3 will need an OBD2A loom, which has a 3 plug ecu connector if im not mistaken. How can there be only one connector? what ecun are you using? a p73 integra one?

whats the b18c4 got to do with it?

i brought the shell without the b18c6 and iv got a b18c4 in it and he cut the loom inside the car and left one connector and i dunno how to convert my b18c4 loom to it

There are two different looms. Interior loom and engine loom, which runs into the car to connect to the ECU.

You still need an OBD2A VTI/EK9 engine loom to run the B18C4 im sure, but with a chipped p28/p30 ecu, which will require a ODB2A to OBD1 conversion harness.

Why did you buy an engineless car if you dont know how to make it work? :s and why not just buy another b18c6 :s

1.That makes no sense.
2. So? you could get a b16a2 longblock for 300 pounds. Monetary cost isnt the be all and end all.

Did you get the engine loom with the car?

i didnt get the engine loom all i got was the interior one and then he has took some bits off that..
but i did get the engine loom and interior loom with my b18c4 engine
but i dont want to take all the interior loom out id rather try and get away with connecting some how but i dunno how too..

from what i can tell he has a b18c4 engine in the car with a b18c6 loom. he cannot get it running because some of the connectors do not match up.
By the sounds of it the guy before him has made his own loom up.

you need a wiring diagram for a b18c4 and a b18c6.
You already have a c4 loom
you need to trace the wires on your c6 loom by colour and connector type, find out what each wire does.
Use your spare c4 loom, cut off the connectors and re-pin the c6 wires into the c4 connectors to fit your engine.

or

if you cannot make sense of the wiring diagram id say your best bet is to replace the whole loom with the spare c4 one you have.

Mate that's an awesome plate, I'm sure alot of people on here would pay more then £400 for that

ermmmmm internet or if that fails I think the Civic Haynes manual has wiring diagrams for an MB6 (b18c4 engine) in the back not sure how in depth it is but might be worth a trip down to your local halfords for some light reading to make sure its got what you need in it before you buy.

The c4 loom wont work.

Need an OBD2A vti/ek9 loom for like the third time.
