OuFor Sale: 1999 CW Ek9 - S472 XDP
Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Price: £5800 No offers
Hi All,
Time has come for me to sell my beloved EK9. I have owned XDP for the last 4 years and had nothing but absolute fun with it. It’s been a dream to drive, own and maintain.
The car has always been run on V power, with regular oil, filter and gearbox oil changes every 5000miles. Castrol 10w-40 engine oil and OEM Honda gearbox oil
The car has been serviced and maintained by myself over the past 4 years with no expense spared (I even get staff discount at my local Honda dealership now)
In May this year the whole car was stripped down to a bare shell as I wanted to ensure the underneath of the car looked as good as the shell itself. Suspension, sub frame, engine, fuel tank, trailing arms, exhaust, and bumper bars etc were all taken off ready for the cleaning. Cleaned with thinners and a rag until spotless, let dry then started with three coats of rust stopper with an hour’s drying time in between. Next came 3 coats of zinc primer painted on with a brush and 2 hours drying time in between. Finally 3 coats of chassis black again painted on with a brush and 2 hours drying time in between. Engine bay was stripped and painted in CW 3 coats and 3 coats of lacquer then everything cleaned and re fitted.
Imported in June 2008 with Speedo converted to MPH and limiter removed
I am the second owner of the car, first only owning it for 4 months
All import/registration docs kept safe in a folder
Completely standard car upon purchase
Car has been religiously cleaned, polished and waxed every week at least once if not twice or even three times
Taxed till december 2012
MOT till june 2013
Spec is as follows –

Slight play in the steering
And the common stone chips in bonnet

I feel this is a fair price considering the condition of the car
The slight changes that I have made since owning this car have made it look and drive the way it should
This car will be truly missed and I will more than likely regret it! I KNOW I will cry when the new owner drives away
Before the RMF manifold
Thanks for your time
