Takata installation into my 9

Okay folks first off if this has been covered before I apologize . Im looking to fit a takata into my 9 this weekend with a mates help . However he thinks I should anchor the harness at the rear corner window, is this correct ?. I remember seeing the long straps being crossed then connected below the back bench behind drivers seat .How are they connected down there . Also I have 3 different sized eye bolts does this matter , do I need another aswell . any help much appreciated .Id rather get it right than fly through the windscreen . mark

For the anchoring question, there is a bar that goes across the floor, that is usually what they are mounted to

You need 3 short eyebolts like the ones pictured and 1 long one.

remove the rear seatbelt and mount 2 of the eyebolts in the bolt holes where the seatbelt was mounted on the floor under the rear seats

mount 1 of the eyebolts where the buckle mounts to the seatrail

finally mount the long eyebolt where the standard seatbelt bolts to the sill next to the door

Clip in the takata, making sure to cr5iss cross the straps behind the seat

the eye bolts that i got for the 2 top harness dont bolt up to the floor. :please:
 
Can i ask for some to post up their harnesses installed?

If you do not have a harness bar then is it ok to mount to the floor? Have you got detailed pictures Steven? As ive just ordered a pair of harnesses and need to fit them before burg. And this may help me.

the eye bolts they give u dont bolt up 2 floor not even right size bolt. they bolt up 2 rear seats gota remove rear seat belt buckles
