Hi there peeps,

My name is Laurens, i'm from the Netherlands and currently i'm driving an EE9. It has a b16a1 delivering a respectable 174 hp, but i'm planning to sell it. I'd like to drive a bit more comfortable (believe me, my EE9 is a stiff hard-a$$ go-kart)...so i want to drive an EK, which is a bit less 'old-skool' :D I have one at my sights, if I bought it, well obviously, i lett you guys know..

I'm joining this forum because i really dont know sh!t about EK's, my knowledge about honda's range from '88 to '91 :p BTW excuse me for my bad english, but i'll try to make it understandable for you guyz..

Some pics of my EE9 (i know i know, it not an EK, but hey..everybody wants to see pics :nice:)

That ee9 is awesome wanna buy a good one oneday and stick a b18c in it

Thnx for the warm welcome :p

Well, just the overal feeling driving the EE is allot different compared to an EK:
- No powersteering
- Old-skool interior...as..in...thin crappy plastic panels :p
- Mine's equiped with a D2 full coilover suspension, which is very stiff

Its just the overal feeling. The bodywork is less solid, its just pure race-orientated...some people will like it, but as an daily driver there comes a time it's getting anoiing

Well....hope to learn allot from you EK-guyz :nice:

:welcome: to the site..nice ee9 man.. love them old skool civic's.. will have one some day:D

Hi Lauz
That is a really nice Civic you have there. Great site this and glad you found us.

Thnx peeps, is it alright to post some more pics? Because this ís an EK-forum?
The pics of my EE will eventually be followed up by my future EK :p

Well, it's been a long time, but I keep my word, and I finally bought an EK!...a friend of mine was planning of selling his EK4, and now...I'm the new lucky owner!

The car is in exellent state, no rust, dents or whatsoever, so I got me a fresh, very good maintained, crispy clear EK4 in NH-503P (black):D

Now my quest for 6th gen knowledge can begin :) Hope to learn allot from you guys!!

It drives like a dream, for me it is very luxurous (excuse me for my english) and completely the opposite in terms of the overal experience compared to the EE. The 4th gen was really a very cool and fast car, and felt more like a go-kart...the EK is more of a "car" :D

And for my future plans the EK is a more better base for my project compared to the EE :drive:

very nice upgrade... welcome man...

ps. loving the rims on ur ek.... type R rear lip asap...

:welcome: To the forum ,excellent info here!! Only probley is you,ll be wanting an EK9 before long.
Out of interest which car is faster, ur old EE9 or current EK4???
