I read alot of threads on stroking a B16b i am just wondering if the same applies to the B16a? Ive been thinking alot lately about stroking my b16a as its a good engine with no issues. Can it be built with OEM DC2 parts? If so what parts am i looking at getting? what parts could be got 2nd hand and what parts would be reccomended to be got new (ie pistons?)

Thanks in advance guys, i tried using the search option, if there are any other threads just post a link.

Thanks

I'm sure there are stroker kits out there for the B16a. I'm sure Toda, Brian crower or Crower do one :nice:

P.s.

Sorry i never read your post properly ( i know.... ) They might be out of your price range a bit and hard to find second hand. But bear them in mind....

Ive seen a toda 1800 kit , cams , power fc make 200bhp at the fly , worth it? Debatable , but you do come out with a fresh and eager engine :)

isnt the toda kit just an over bore? as i think it comes with liners too doesnt it?

im not really looking for a kit, i was more intrested in using OEM arts to storke it, am i out of luck? will b18 parts fit

that is not true. A B18A crank will fit.

Rods can remain as OEM as well. The pistons should be custom though.

I guess its all down to the person and how much money they don't mind spending. Personally i wouldn't, i'd rather just turbo it how it is and make a **** load more power :D
