after resetting the ecu by removing the negative form the battery (30+ sec) the check light is still on. this doesn't come on straight away, it only comes on after 3-5 minute when the car is running.

anyone have any idea what cause this problem?

thanks for the quick reply, yes i've checked it and it has 1 sec flash and goes on forever!!

it will only stop for maybe a second between flashes on the same count

so it it flashes like this

that make code 33

it will then stop for 5 to 10 seconds and start again in the above procedure

i stop counting after 40+ long flash, i thougfht it was no.10 on the list

Is it drivable? If using this diagnosing technique is confusing to you then try driving to a local auto parts store for a OBD code scan. This doesn't always immediately locate the problem but can surely point you in the right direction.

What symptoms does your car have btw?

it drive normals, only had this CEL on after taking the down pipe off and place back on to test whether my 5zigen was alright to go on or not.

been out there again today and check the code. still the same thing, a constant long flash every second and theres no pause.

(check light is on only when car runs for 3+ min and not when in igition)
