I started all this knowing I had a month to get it stripped, all the work done and build it back together ready for a track day at castle combe on Feb the 7th with the vtec challenge lot. It was going to cut it fine but knew if the cage and paint work was done on time it was easily doable. So the car was taken too a local guy who builds rally cars and he cracked on with the cage for me.
Single door bars changed to X's with a bar from the top of the A pillar too the main join at the front.
Seat rails with harness eyebolts attached and the lower rear X.
A pillar gussets, dash bar that gets rid of the oem steering column bar, and also cut the rear inner skins away and the rear seat brackets.
The extension too the front shock towers, also guessted for some extra strength. The engine bay is also stitched welded.
