Another little job done yesterday, painted the calipers and discs all round as the backs where rusty and the fronts had the crappest ever red paint Job on them.

Loads of jobs still to do!

I also found the wilwood super light big brake kit I have would fit with different wheels. Might be an option!

Would need bells re-drilling and new discs and pads though.

So just fitted a milltek exhaust, pretty happy with sound if not a tiny bit loud. Also this just arrived....

Mfactory LSD :)

Fitted a powder coated white rocker cover

Also got some wind deflectors for the windows.

Purchased and fitted some new Tein coilovers today :)

Here's a few poor pics!

They are set to approx 30mm lower than stock, initial impressions are softer than meister r on the S2000 on full soft and maybe a tad softer than the S2000 full hard. Only driven it down the road so I'll see how I feel after a proper drive.

Some up to date pics of the car, not the best I'm afraid just iphone pics of it up the driveway as I've been mega busy!
I've also done the hondata air box mod today so I'll start with pics of that.

Before

Midway

I didn't actually get a finished pic, as the weather was typically british and i was in a rush to get it back together, but basically it's the same as above only smoothed!

What's been done since last pictures:-
-Hondata air box mod
-Hondata flash pro Ecu
-Milltek non res cat back exhaust
-White powder coated rocker cover
-All calipers and discs painted
-Window deflectors
-Tein coilovers
-IPod adapter
-Yellow front fogs

Next weeks work:-

-Fit mfactory LSD
-Fit Yokohama A048

Still loads to do, including the brakes which are absolute crap.

Just fitted the Yokohama a048's, also bought a new oem clutch to fit when the gearbox is being removed for the LSD fitment on Monday :)

The LSD was fitted today, really impressed with it! Seems much better than the oem honda LSD's I've used too which surprised me!

you aint hanging about with this one lol, good job mate :nice:

Nice CTR, what Teins are they? and can you tell me where you got your Flaspro from please.

Thanks

Just in the process of doing a full fast road geo set up and fitting better brake pads, as I've got a track day Friday :)

I will do, don't use the car daily as I have a work van.

They are tein superstreets mate, not interested in lowering more than 30mm sothey are ideal for the money.

Brake pads arrived and fitted. Camber bolts arrived too

Geo settings checked and all over the place, just getting shims sorted and hopefully have this sorted.

Civic is in for full FRS today, hopefully get it done for tomorrow without any issues!

Lots to update but I just haven't had the time!
FRS all done to my requested specs.
Did a trackday on Friday at oulton park, happy with the handling but had major brake issues.
Went to drive the car Sunday and was struggling to select gears/getting stuck in gear and whining noise on clutch bite.

Removed gearbox today and found brand new oem honda clutch had failed in less than 200 miles!
Ordered a exedy clutch for tomorrow so will try get the time to sort it but I'll only have an hour or so.

200 miles - you didn't let Lee drive it did you lol!

Looking good Ste must catch you at a meet sometime dude :)

Yeh we need to sort something.

Just looks like a premature clutch failure, fallen to pieces inside. Luckily can't see any gearbox or flywheel damage

How do you find the coilovers plus what model are they? I've just bought a 60 plate so looking for suspension mods had b14 bilstien on my last fn2.

Brake wise go for the bbk stoptech's cost a bit but well worth it, you will need 40+ offset wheels though. My mate has some k sports and has had problems with them not lining up right.
