hi all,

i have an ej6 hatch.

need some help regarding my wheels, i bought a set of spoon sw388 (5x114), fronts 16x7 +35 and rears 17x8 +45,now here are my questions:

1) will the wheels fit from an s2000 on a itr 5 lug hub?
2) should i go for 205/45R16 or 205/50R16 or 215/45R16?
3) will they stick out the fenders?

any comment are very much welcome! thanks! cheers to all!

p.s. any pictures of examples will help too. :nice:

Aww wait, 17s on the rear...i wouldn't put them on a civic mate But if your going to fit them

The Fronts with an offset of 35 with sit pretty flush with the arch and the 45 offset on the back will be fine.

If you run 205/45/16 on the front your gonna need like...205/(35/40)/17 on the Rear, unless you Run the car Raked(higher at the back)

If this makes sense?

my bad guys, typo error.

fronts 16x7 +35
rears 16x8 +45

im thinking if it will fit my civic hatch.
205/45r16?
205/50r16?
215/45r16?

sorry about that

thanks!

205/40/16 would probably be best mate, 8 inch on the back might rub if your car isnt standard ride height

If anything rn the 8's on the front with wider tyres for better traction

tbh though i wouldn't run them, could test fit and see what like :)

well if they dont fitt, ill just sell them then get ctr rims or some te 37s too bad
i love these rims man.grr..but i think theres a big chance that i can actually put them though.

will staggered fit wheels but same tire size all around throw understeer and oversteer aspects or any handling issues for the civic hatch?

They will physically fit and basically it ends all there and the headaches begin. What you really want is

front: 16x8 +35mm

This is so the wheel sits further out and will not rub the inside frame rail. Yes, you will have other problems with the edge of wheel smacking the fender, but that's a wheel this size/offset requires negative camber.

rear: 16x7 +45mm

with this size and offset, the wheel will sit further inwards (towards the center of the car) and this will help with rotation.

If you had the wheels in the above listed size/offsets, you could run the same size tire and it would handle pretty good without detrimental effects.

Take some of your own advice in your sig.

yup.comments taken.here's the history, even before i bought my hatch, i already a set of spoons of that setup from a s2000. i also wonder if the hub size are the same for CTR, ITR, and a s2000? fronts and rears?

thats why i am asking if i can use those spoons for my current civic project.if not, i will just sell them and get oem ctr wheels i guess.
