Need to make a decision, I've got a spare P72 sump to weld in a Tegiwa baffle kit, but I don't fancy any weld or any crap coming loose in the sump as if it catches the bearings it's game over!

Or stump up for a pre made Spoon sump?

However, the Spoon baffle doesn't look as well thought out.

Any thoughts?

Spoon baffle looks a bit junk,
if your planning to spend out then the mugen sump is best as it has the uprights that direct oil to the pick up as it sloshes from side to side,

Neither spoon or moroso have those bits

Or have the plates tig welded in, no spatter debris then.

The Tegiwa baffle kit looks a better baffle than the Spoon item. Spoon one has down turns though.

Mugen has the down turns as well, but I'm not sure that they are that important

Just weld your own but ensure that you give it a good clean after or you'll end up like I did.

As above, weld in kit and then rinse it out good.
Go round the sump with a magnet afterwards aswell.
You'll be fine if you wash it properly. I've had 3 different sumps with weld in baffles. Never an issue.

Just welded yesterday,
Just need to be clean.

Bought on Ebay, by Polan, for 1/3 Price off Tegiwa xD .. love to spare som Money. bought 3 set, with shipping to Denmark for £44 :)

I blasted mine with a hot jet wash plenty of soap. Then used boiling water from kettle and fairy liquid. Take your time and repeat a few times. I also used a magnet as jesse said good way to catch any fallout. Once your done dint forgot to give the baffle a generous coating of oil so it doesn't rust.

The baffles completely submerged in oil soon as you fill up the sump.
5l literally fills the sump up.

Pretty sure mines got a p72 on it actually.
Didn't look just saw b series sump and grabbed one lol

I had a Spoon sump on my B18C, I know the gen 1 was a pretty shoddy way of welding but the current versions are neater, I only went for it as I went spoon everything on my Civic, but I would personally now weld in a plate, does the same job.

I know that, But just in case you don't put the sump on straight away.
