Does the hondata s300 ecu come with a softwear disc????
or is it just the ecu on it's own??
 
so how does this fit?
does it replace my ecu or does it plug into my ecu?
bearing in mind i have a b18c!
 
Yes, the S300 comes with the software cd and usb cable.

You wont be using your ecu at all, it will connect to your loom via an obd2a/b>obd1 converter harness which cost around £50.

Lol no ways dude, id never back down from a turbo project. But one of our customers didnt want to go through with it, he wants to go k-series lol. Ill post a thread with my project in the boost section :)

The P28 is OBD1.

Hondata S300 is now sold.

I believe the pre facelift ek9 is obd2a and the facelift model is obd2b...hence the reason why I said you guys need the converter harness :)
 
I was under the impression that all teg's were obd1 and as i hav a b18c convertion and the teg ecu pluged stright into my car!

correct me if im wrong!
 
Nope! Tegs are both OBD2a and b.

No not all DC2's are OBD2, early JDM, pre ITRs were OBD1.

Pre facelift EK9 is OBD2a
facekift EK9 is OBD2b

Either way you ideally want to run an OBD1 ECU.
