Hey everyone,

I'm almost certain about buying Skunk2 Pro C adjustable coilovers for my 2000 ek hatchback. But, I was hoping for fellow members input if they have them or rode in a car with them installed.

-How bumpy of a ride?
-Are they good for a daily driver just around town (I'm not looking to take my ek to the track.)?
-How easy are they to adjust? For example, if I'm going on a long road trip I would like to raise the ride up a little for comfort. But slam it down when I get home.

I'm willing to invest in a good suspension setup since my ef9 was dropped with Eibach springs and Tokico Blue shocks. It's a bumpy ride especially on the freeway. Plus the car was a little higher in the front than the back so people flash their headlights at me a lot even though I have my low beams on.

Any input would be appreciated...:D

This set up is stiff as a mother.
I have the whole Skunk 2 set up in my car, and the pro C works great for my V6.

But you feel everything, i would go with something else for a daily.

DONT DO IT!
Skunk2 Pro C Coilovers are strictly for race. I had them on my daily drive. Sold them like a week later. If you say your Tokico's were bumpy, Skunk2 are even bumpyer!

Thanks a lot guys for your responses. I had no idea they were so stiff. I definitely want to stay away from the bumpy rides.

How about Ground Control coilovers? Are they as stiff?

I have Skunk2 coilovers in both my race EK9 and my road EG6. With the right springs in the dampers you can get the ride quite comfortable on the road, although they will feel a lot stiffer than OEM (obviously).

You could also look at sway bars (anti roll bars) to adjust the ride while upping the handling stakes, and then just go to a lowering spring rather than a full coilover setup.

Lots of options out there, especially if you don't want to hit the track with the car.

Hi .. Im currently running tokico blues with tien springs .. And the ride is great .. Its smooth like stock but with a little drop and also a lil more responsive .. IMO .. I would stick with getting springs and shocks .. I don't recommend coilovers on a daily whatsoever .. But like I sed my set up is pretty nice and it handles good too ..

Too stiff for daily driving but u can order from skunk2 with softer springs, 8k/6k or 6 all around would be much better suited for street driving.
