hello i have a b18c5 and i'm wondering of simple and inexpensive ways to get more power

They do, a spoon panel got me 17 hp on the rolling road.

If you already know then why ask such a question??

On Vtecs especialy Type R motors there is no reall such turm as inexpensive boost in power.

Simple things first as with tuning any engine. "Decent" Exhaust system, decat, well known "good" manifold and a remap. All that will set you back in the regon of £1000-£1400 but still dont be expecting big power hike.

This has been asked and covered a million times. Have a scan through the search function to find the best mods to do first. :nice:

I heard a back box can give you a extra 5-8 bhp to... I'm not to sure though....

Sick lee, i have a turbo ek9 to. I just have a stock b16a in her at the moment with a cossie t3. Its getting a make over soon so look out for it.

Simply strap some rockets to the back, and you have more power!

Haha, lol thats called JATO -It was originally used as a prototype on C-130K models untill they realised it bent the whole airframe (I guess it made it possible for a 50-55tonne Aircraft to take off within a couple hundred metres though).

They also tried an opposite to JATO (cant remember what its called) where they mounted the rockets to the front of the herc in "reverse", it worked to a degree.. as it stopped the airframe but the wings kept going forward lol  I'll try dig up some good pictures of it :nice:

^ wazer please try and find that mate, thats hilarious...
i can imagine the pilots seeing the wings go past
