im thinking about going silverstone is it good and is it pricey ? its either silverstone or donnington want to go to next

great pictures anyway :nice:

:wow: forgot there were pics being taken bro.

Big Thankyou once again to Jimbob for the invite to this.
I initially only went as a spectator, but he insisted I went on track as his second driver.

Best fun Ive ever had on 4 wheels.....I can see why so many members on here are addicted to track:dance:

that yellow ek9 is spotless! lol. :naughty: Been pricing a few trackdays over here, never realised how expensive it was to do it!

great pics, thanks for sharing :nice: hope you're well :)

Sounds like a good day James, D'janiero got the bug?

elchunk, they can get pricey as you get addicted to buying mods as well as the days themselves, joining a club for reduced prices helps, but pointless owning a Type R/modded car if you never really drive it.

egshane, great idea but highly unlikely to happen, most would rather spend thousands on the car only to park it up at a retail park meet, would be good to see twenty EK9's out on track together, I might have seen three at a HOT event...could have a shot at it later this year though, UK of course.

so true...

we should try find a day it would even be good with 10 ek9's or less or even better more!
we should all try and organise it!

Could'nt agree more with this.
I always feared going on track, incase I crashed my car etc hence why I was never interested in going on track. However, after going yesterday it was a real eye opener, i.e its a case of taking your time, finding your own limits and going at your own pace.
No one was trying to bully me off the track really. There was the odd one or too drivers going really hard, but I simply just moved over and let them pass:).
Would be good to see a good bunch of 9s on track though.

Really and truely got the bug mate. I'm already contemplating the abuse my bank balance is going to get throughout the year with mods and other events:nerv:

Also after driving both the 9 and the teg on track, I am finally able to put the b16b v b18c debate to rest:secret: but thats another thread lol

the only one within a resonable driving distance from me is kirkistown, but it seems pretty boring and small just a 3 or 4 corners and a chicane. You guys on the mainland have your pick of loads of good circuits that i'd love to drive on.. :(

great pics! Any video?? :)

Vid added mate:nice:

This is not the GP circuit, this is the STOWE circuit on the infeild of the GP circuit.
It was only £120 for the day & it wa open pit lane, from what i have seen in the past the GP circuit is quite expensive compaired to others but saying that i will be doing the GP at some point just to tick it off the list!:p

Im good thanks mate, hope you are ok too!
We need to have a catch up at some point!:secret:

It was a great day mate!

As said it is so true more people need to relise what they are driving & get them on track!
A car park is no place for a Type R:drive:

Glad you had a good day bro & hope you will be bringing your 9 on track with us next time!:nice:

I hope you do get to mate, after all this time we have still never had chance to meet/go on track together!:nono:

Would love a Pax in yours!:secret:

X2 i would be well up for that :)

We would never get chance to book a day of our own or very unlikely, we would be best to all book on a day with the likes of "Hondas-on-Track" all together!

Im sure they would love to have a load of EK9's on track together!

We should pick a day like Croft on the 22nd of july, that is very central for everyone including the scottish lads!:nice:

Looking to join some of you at snett, Got a liittle one on the way which might stop me from going first one :)
