When I bought the car, the wheels were in a bad way, corroded and kerbed and since I did like these wheels, probably one of OEM wheels I do like, this happened,

Looks sweet now
Also got my private plate on there, as it had to really.
My rocker cover had seen better days, was peeled so got a new one, and fitted it last night,
Also had a full service as it really needed it, and had cambelt and tensioner change amongst other things related to that, and undersealed fully, feels soo much better to drive now.
Not much has happened, just been enjoying her by the bucket loads, keeping her clean too, so some pics over X mas and new years
Keeping with the OEM theme, my steering wheel is in a really bad way, so I came across a near mint one, hard to find these days so waiting for that to be put on, inc defi gauges and Double din unit
I have also put a deposit down for a rare ATR red interior inc door cards, looks like this:
Also thinking to get Tein coilovers on inc spacing the OEM wheels out a bit soon.
looking great so far. I wonder how far you will take this.
Probably not as modded as your EK. But on the other hand its a though habbit to beat this modifying stuff
It won't be taken no where near the money I spent on the EK, as this is soo enjoyable out the box, doesn't need much work at all, and I am also done with modifying to an extent haha.
The wheels were not sprayed by myself, but I bought a used set that was in near mint condition.
So the steering wheel that came with the car had seen better days, so this happened:
And to show the comparison between old and new:
Much better, steering wheel still has dimples in the leather, massive improvement on the interior.
Well H series are known for its oil pump failures, reading up and also being informed by Maz at Hond-R, so I changed it to eliminate the worry, so got that done, along with a fresh oil change,
Next up, I wanted a double din in to replace the single din, and had my old Defis waiting, so installed:
Finally, though the car handled absolutely brilliantly, I wanted to get rid of the arch gap, so purchased some Tein coilovers, and also spacers whilst I was at it, so the wheels didn't look lost in the arches, so the result:
Looks like you found a cracker mate. I can't get enough of mine either ! Got mine riding on coil overs and eagle f1 tyres and it just keep sticking in to the corners. I'm running standard pipes on mine and the noise of vtec is pretty epic. Certainly turns heads either on the move or In traffic.
