Rpm limit at 8500


MINE LIMITS EXACTLY at 8500 on clocks either mine are 100% bang on wich ive never seen or its limiting early il have to get an rsm
 
Sounds like youve got a good one! 8500 is what mine used to limit at before i changed the ECU
 
MY prob is ive a 1.5 lsd and a 4.7 fd i take off against my buddys ek9 she revs quicker but lose out going through 4th and 5th

but i have b16a sir, mine limits at 9200, all standered(for now)apart from induction kit??

is there much diff between b16b and a b16a???

YOUR clocks are prob reasding wrong have you an rsm
 
my 9 has a b18c and limits at 9 on the clock.:shocked:
im hoping the clocks out

Yours should be reving quicker unless he has a 4.9? My B16B engine limited at 8700 on the RSM. Looks like 9K on the clock. My B18CR Revs to about 8800 on the RSM, has be known to hit 9K though:cool:

his is standard 4.4 mine is deffo 4.7 judging by the speeds on me clock and gps and revs alot quicker but dies out in 4th and 5th stays reving as quick but not as much power it seems we think the gears might have been lengthened would this be a possible cause.
 
Are you sure its not a 98 Spec ITR Box you are running? They have a longer 4 & 5 to compensate for the 4.7 Final drive, so the car won't be as hard on petrol compared to if you had a 4.7 in a 96 Spec ITR Box as they have a shorter 4 & 5. Check the code on your box;)
