Rotrex K20 EF Civic Track Build

Got my shafts built up and fitted today so I could finally get all the front end bolted up and finished underneath.. just some clips for the new braided hoses left to fit.

I had bought a complete car HEL brake line kit last yr sometime.. finally got round to fitting it along with a bias valve, just need to change the rear hoses as I runs drums on the rear and the kit came with hoses for rear discs.

Nothing much to update.. just finished up my front brake hoses and got tyres onto the CPF's so fitted them and went back to the CPR's on the rear for some JDM stagger..

Got a shorter steel sump for this.. and pic with his older bro.. ;)

Repainted the valve cover.. flush oil cap for clearence.. still need a flush dipstick!

Repainted the intake manifold too..

Got my seat in and added some bars for extra support to the column.. ready for dash fitting now.

After weighing up my options I sold my C30 Rotrex so this will now stay N/A!

Been after a set of these wheels for ages.. would have preffered 15's but I'll manage.. 7x16 et35 Sprint Hart CP-035.. probly one of the lightest 16's you can get at 4.9kg per rim!

Got some paint on the front wings and had a test fit of the dash shell.. still some bits to be blanked and I will possibly flock it later..

Wings are the business Ernie!
Engine looks mean the way it's sitting.

I was hoping this would of stayed rotrex, would of been an animal nevertheless , will be a serious car as soon as its finished.
Great craftsmanship.

Pair of tyres fitted for the front.. looks like everything clears.

Cut splitter out and got some paint on it.. will need to sit it under traction bar so an airdam will need to be made to sit between lip and splitter.. some flexi plastic stuff should do it.. The mounts I will have to make and mount to outside of chassis legs.. as traction bar mounts on inside.
Started fitting my bonnet.. as its just a skin it needs 4 bonnet pins.. had to slide it forward slightly for clearence and some spacers will be fitted at edges to help it sit level.. I will be fitting a vent to it eventually.

Splitter and airdam mounted up today.. fabbed up some brackets from alloy and welded some mounts with captive nuts to the outside of the chassis legs as the inner side is used to mount the traction bar..
