Revs drop when fan comes on?

Hey guys,

A issue i've never paid much attention to but have known is there is when the actual engine fan comes on the revs drop and it feels like it is going to stall but as soon as the fan switches of it recoveres back to normal idiling speed??

Any insight on this please

Your fan is run off a motor so when its running its using power which your engine has to make using the alternator,which would cause the revs 2 drop!!

oh riteee, so i suspect it's normal right? I thought it would be that load on the engine which causes it to do that but just wanted some opinions..
