Bought my first Honda a couple days ago. Knew as soon as I seen this car that I had to have it. Have looked forever for a 99-00 ice teal pearl ex sedan. Well here it is.

There are some rusty spots on the quarter panels that I plan on cutting out and welding on a replacement.

But the first thing I wanted to do was get the carpet out and take it to the wash..hose out all the dirt and make it extra fresh :p

As for performance..bought some OEM Honda oil and tranny fluid, as well as a new filter and oil pan gasket.

Previous owner said it just started leaking so that's the first thing to be fixed. Going to be interesting doing all this stuff myself..I've only ever watched my boyfriend--some of you may have seen his build of the type R civic--Spoon_tuned_ek.

It's going to be a long road and very hard shoes to fill. Can't wait to get her repainted too!

All stock:nice:

Clean interior otherwise

Roof needs some serious paint.

Can't wait to start seriously building this babe. She's gonna be a real looker. Stay tuned for more updates!:nerv:

Always loved the colours the US offered :) I'd get that rust sorted ASAP. Good luck with the build.

@spoon_tuned_ek She's a keeper ;)

Good luck with the build.
very nice car to start build. I will watch you:meet:

Small update..! Got all the carpet pulled out and blasted it out at the manual wash. Here's a picture of it right before I cleaned it

I also have original floor mats @spoon_tuned_ek gave me out of his hatch since he's got the red type R carpet:thanks:

Here it is afterwards...got most of the gross stains out and it doesn't smell like a high school boy anymore!

Couldn't really get a good picture of everything together afterwards since there's currently two cars in our garage..no room to lay everything out!
I did also get my magnetic oil pan and tranny drain plugs in the mail from password! Time to put fresh fluid in.

She drives like brand new despite the 200k original miles..hopefully the magnetic plugs will keep her running as long as possible!
