R883`s EK9 Track Build : Shell Up

Had this shell for a while now, just not had much time to spend on it
Thats going to change though !
Its a 2000 Facelift Black EK9
Well known on here !

Have gathered some parts together to get her on here wheels

Also have a carbon bonnet, hardrace front LCA bushes and spoon compliance bushes so far

Plenty more to be bought !

Have also got some dinitrol underseal
Thats the next job, not looking forward to it

Planning on getting to the garage over the next couple of weeks and want to get it on the ground

I will keep this updated with each step along the way

Managed to eventually get the first stage of the underseal done yesterday
Wasnt as bad as I thought it would have been
Should manage to get the last bit done today

good work so far, Look forward to seeing more on this!! What engine are you planning on putting in it ?

Those wheel nuts however shouldn't be used on OEM wheels if you were planning to!

Maybe some of these? ALLOY WHEEL LUG NUT CONVERSION WASHERS ADAPTORS

But i would just use OEM nuts

I have a standard c4 to go in just now, dont think it will stay that way for long
Not sure wether to go down the turbo route or k20...
Gearbox wise, I have a ek9 box with a unkown plated diff in it

As for the wheel nuts
I have all ready got washers for them
I won the nuts in a raffle so got them for £10, I quite like them

My light broke so had to do it with a head torch, wasnt ideal

Some new shiney bolts arrived today

Front upper camber bolts, rear LCA bolts and some suspension nuts

Fitted some new RTA bushes and made a start ot the back suspension
Thats the hubs, coilovers, camber arms, toe arms and LCA`s on

Been busy, pretty much everything ordered for her now
Hoping to have her up and running in the next few weeks

Not updated this in a while......

Because i haven't done much !

Car is now on its wheels (or it was) as I had to move

Decided I am going to get up to the garage tomorrow and get the brake lines done

Will get a better update after tomorrow

Battery Mounted

Passenger Airbag removed and Teshi carbon delete just sitting in place still need bond it down

A few things have been installed in the engine bay now (needs a good wash !)
Can also see the subframe and steering rack in
Rack has been stripped down and the piston removed to convert it to as close to a manual rack as I can

I have bought another car to use as my daily now, so no need for this to be built to accommodate that and no rush now
Can build as I wanted, for the track !
