(Q)help pct pistons in p73 rods

Hi i have b18c R with p73 rods and p73 00 pistons
I got a gift from a friend B16b pct piston
I know that pct oem pistons are pressed in , iwant to buy aftermarket rods but they are all floating system .
I saw some posts they send to the machine shop pistons and make a hole for c clips
Is this safe ?
How much can handle oem rods ?
A friend of mine told me buy arp bolts and you gonna be ok

My setup is
b18c type r
p73 rods
pct pistons
Toda b cams
Twm itbs

Im gonna be around 200-220whp
 
Oem rods Should be ok with arp bolts,
220 whp may be a bit optimistic though.

I'm sure @JohnTurbo runs p73 rods with pct pistons and toda c cams
 
Im just saying arround 200 without nitro

Ia there any aftermarket rods that you can use with pressed in method or all they are floating
 
Any reason you can't press the oem wrist pin into the oem piston while going through the new rods?

Personally if I couldn't afford both id go for the Pistons over the rods.
