`lol i got pulled by the guards tonight. for a loud exhaust. its not even that loud. skunk2 cat back. they even turned in a main street to follow me. supposedly my exhaust, my number plates and my headlights are illegal.
 
i have a few pics up in members rides. ull have to back into them a good bit. put them up a few moths ago. but its not everything cup off tea so dont expect good comments back

Do you have HID's in your car?????
I cant say much about your exhaust or your plates as i dont know the law over there!

What have they said??? Do you have to rectifie the prob's???????
 
ya they want me to change the exhaust, number plates and heaad lights. but im not changing the headlights. wouldnt mind but i never had any trouble with the guards with my exhaust in my area. its a new ban-guarda( female guard in our area). i told her ill put the silencier in but im not taking the exhaoust off. and i have the original plate so ill just put those on
 
hey Kev, thats poor form. i got stung with that a couple of years ago with a Bora i had. was headin to work at7 in d morning and was stopped when i pulled away from d lights. copper said is 2 load that he **** himself. wat i done was booked the car in for an NCT. if it passes wit everything as is then its all road legal. it will fail on the plates tho. jus change them.

ah man the gaurds dont care if ur car goes through nct wit loud exhaust they'll still tell ya to change it if they think its too loud cos bein honest most gaurds are ****in wankers...i got stopped twice in my silvia for the exhaust 1st gard said it was loud an asked had i a silencer to put in an jus told me ta put it in(sound enuf gard)the 2nd time i got stopped i rolled up to check point drivin normal an prick went to town on me givin me summons for the exhaust went round checkin all my tires they wanted to search the car an told me to remove my turbo cos it was an upgrade that shouldn have been there so i was like wtf how is it illegal wen it comes standard on the car an he proceeded to tell me thats why my exhaust was loud...so i got his badge number an reported him to his super intendant sayin he was way out of line an hadn a clue wat he was on bout an for have an attitude wit me rite from start for no reason...an told his super it was a high performance 2l turbo not a 1l wit a loud pipe an it needed the big exhaust to run prop wit the othe upgrades an he sorted it all out an the gard got a warnin...sorry bout the long rang
 
the local authority has nothing better to doas long as the test says you pass im sure they cant take it further if they do give you further hassle make an official complaint
 
unless they gave you a producer then do nothing:nice: dont know how it works 4 you guys
 
well i had to do a few things for it to pass the test. take da 4 branch out. raise it up. change da head lights. its not some much loud as it backfires alot since i put type cams in it. id say i just need to turn down the fuel pressure a bit
