I am attempting to clean off the peeling paint that is stuck inside the tail light. It is definitely the same process as removing headlight lens. Though, when I cleared all the locking tabs on the tail light, the lens would still not come off. I looked around and can’t seem to find issue. What are you attempting to do?
Usually people put these in the overn till the glue go soft like how they do converting the front headlights to look like a ek9 headlight
One day I may attempt that but currently I have some peeling paint stuck in the tail light. I did try the oven way though I can’t get it open all the way. I am wondering if there is something else within the housing or outside that I’m not seeing that is causing it not to open.If you're trying to DIY some LEDs, oven is best way to split them.
On the lens? Get a stick with a ball of tape on the end. Poke the paint and take it out using the bulb socket hole. One day I may attempt that but currently I have some peeling paint stuck in the tail light. Never thought of that. I will give that a try! Thank you!On the lens? Get a stick with a ball of tape on the end. Poke the paint and take it out using the bulb socket hole.

I had that amber film come off some indicator bulbs inside my headlights. Used a chopstick with some tape. Sorted.
