na not really as long as its not really discoloured or anythin, just make sure its topped up. honda might advise a change at some point but i wouldn`t think so.

if you do change it make sure to ONLY use honda genuine fluid, if not it will eat the seals of the steering rack and you'll have to replace the whole unit, trust me, i know :angry2:

It's strange that they on longer say when to replace the power steering fluid, but I guess they just top it off when they do the Type II service which is supposed to be every 24 months.

I personally would advise changing it, since it's not difficult to do by yourself. Unplug one of the hoses leading into the reservoir and turn on the car and have it all pump out ...watch your fingers when doing this if you don't have a vacuum pump!

it starts to get a lot of **** in there.

You have to keep the front wheels off the ground and unplug one of the hoses to the reservior and you'll need a bottle to collect it, then turning the steering left n right full lock to pump it all out.

You don't need to turn on the engine, or it'll blast out like crazy!!!

these cars are 10 years old now,, wouldnt hurt to change it sureley,, but if it looks nice and clean i wouldnt bother
