we folks i had the car dyno'e on a dyno dynamics in december
it was a complete stock ek9
it ran 158bhp ,

decat + itg air-box and neptune added it ran 176.9 (same dyno)

so i got a buddyclub race spec header and spec 3 cat back and it ran 170.8 max

compression is perfect ,plugs are fine, car was only serviced new clutch two weeks ago all is gud

it also ran same power on its stock ecu
im puzzled any ideas??????

was your car stock exhaust prior to the buddy club items?

Should be 185bhp?

yeah it should but its not guna be anymore there not new cars after all, should still be well about the 150s tho even if it was completly standard
what condition is the buddyclub header ect in and who fitted it?

Also, were you running rich on the dyno when tuning?

the car had a brand new header and exhaust fitted 4 days ago
up till then it had stock header and exhaust itg airbox decat and tuned on neptune and it sat at 176.9 on the dyno

all we did was fitted the header and exhaust and power fell to 170.8 max
all on the saqme dyno too

Did you remap it after fitting the header and catback?

Would temperature change cause this swing? I thought that it may, but only 2-3hp 'ish?

yep ...
i no its as if someting didnt line up correctly and is restricting it

I assume Mick in Urban mapped it for you? He should be able to see in the map if there is a restriction in the engines breathing.

everyting in the graph is smooth its just so very strange im goin to put it back stock and see if it restores poer
and if so den do one ting at a time

Ask your tuner did it require more fuel or less when new parts were fitted this will tell if the parts are to blame
