Hows it going guys ?

I am having a problem trying to pick a set of tyres for my EK9 :angry2: . The car is mainly street driven with a bit of abuse at the weekend. If you guys could let me know what your running on the standard wheels and give me some recommendations it would be great ! ! There are just so many diffrent tires out out there, its like trying to choose a chocolate bar on my lunch break lol. Budget isnt really a problem but i don't want to spend a crazy amount on them.

Thanks for your time
Rich

Which ones ? I don't we can get hold of the factory tires though....

I should have those datalogs this weekend lol, The oil pump packed up on her and it has had held me back with it.

Thanks
Rich

i had yoko parada spec 2's on my last 9 and thought they were spot on, good all rounder and wont break the bank :nice:

have parada`s spec 2 as well for 20.000 km`s atm. Have gone through 2 sets of RE010`s. Yoko`s are more than half the price, warm up faster, last longer and are more quiet; though i`ve read many reviews complaining about the noise, but that`s odd, since exhausts are louder.

Thanks for the replys guys,

@y3lo, what do you think of them ?

Toyo t1R. good alround tyre and the price is very good. little noise, but last long, performes good.

rainsports pros II have awesome reviews everywhere i look, and on 15's they arnt to expensive

i would say toyo T1R's just got them for £129 next day delivery from ebay. Love them, and great value for money :nice:

Since your from Buuurmingham, may I suggest a good wet tire. Seeing as winter is a coming and you all are in merry olé England.

Toyo Proxes 4.
They are better in the wet then Proxes T1R. I have a sent and when it rained here in Los Angeles a couple of days ago, I didn't notice a big loss of traction! And they are cheap too! They are the grippyest (is that even a word?) Rain tires I have ever had.

hankook rs2 have them on my jordan and dc2 and there great, toyo r888's are good but anything below them toyo are rubbish had proxy 4's on dc2 and they are terrible, never again and there just a normal road tyre after all, kwik fit and that have them in stock all the time.

Ha ha lol, that made me laugh...:))

Thanks again guys, you can see the problem i'm having though. I still arent sure lol, i mite start flipping coins and playing heads or tails...

Lots of recommedations for T1Rs, which is susprising considering how much they can ruin the handling on the EK9.

I hate mine with a passion, they might be cheap, but I wish I had spent more.
