Planning selling my ej6 but for how much ??

Not trying to sell it on here !! Just thoughts on what price I could aim for ?
Soo got a black ej6 coupe clean shell too! No rust sills or arches but paintwork could do with freshing up.
Its got dave'ts b18cr-itb'd engine which has been 2000miles from being fully built (reliable this time) & mapped again by henry roy. It made 227bhp, 158 ftlbs on standard teg cams.
Also 5 stud hubs all round from uk teg, soo 282s & 262s brake with hels braided brake line s. Wheels are the advan rg's 16". interior has got ek9 carpet & 2 buddyclub p1 limited edition seats with ek9 wheel & sir clocks. Theres shed load more spec on it just being brief but what you guys think 4500 ? 5k ?

Sounds like its got some nice parts but at the end of the day, It's just an ej6. Maybe £2500 but £4500-5000 is ek9 money.
 
I know its no ek9 but can leave one eaily standing... & a shed load time has went into it :)
 
Put it on the market at what YOU think it's worth and the market will give you the answer. If you are expecting to get what you put into it then forget it, you may get close if you decide to break it! There are plenty cars out there that will leave EK9 standing and are a lot cheaper than EK9. The fact that it is faster than stock EK9 does not make it just as valuable, at least not in my eyes.
 
I don't think you will get that sort of money these days for it. It hard to sell any cars let alone something this moded. I think your best bet is to brake it you will get more of your money back this way. Nice car by the way

This just put it up for what your looking for and if it sells it sells if not then drop the price a wee bit and then go from there, if your struggling to sell it then you have a choice to either break it or wait a while
 
£3000 tops, may sound harsh but it's a b18'd ej6 and not exactly rare, even if it does have more power.
 
Fair enough guys. Think I may go down the breaking it route, could get a fair bit of money back out it by selling the engine on its own !
 
what i would do is buy a 1.6 engine and put it into it and sell it. then sell the b18 stuff separate best way to get some money back
 
i've always found breaking cars to be reap much more..would definitely advise that!
 
To be honest it's worth more in parts unfortunately, and I'd say there's an easy 4k worth of parts there. Your always going to get the "lol but it's not an ek9" on here, I would post it up for what YOU think it's worth and take it from there.

It only takes that one person to want the car.
