Picked up b16b cleaned and painted ..

well over the weekend picked up a 97 spec b16b for. Local car/engine importer decided to clean it and painted/ add my own touches , now it's back to saving/ drained my bank account , lol , down the road I can get he rest of the stuff

What products did you use and what was the process. I'm asking as I want to do it to my own. Also what's the blue tape for

It cost me about $1700 for the engine , the blue tape is 3m painters tape used to mask up areas where u don't want paint or other debris to get in , I used a drill with a wire wheel and engine degreaser to completely prep block and then painted with reg metallic engine paint , and candy red for the valve cover with little black accent pieces , I wish i could finish this project faster , but bank account is drained and still have a transmission and shift linkage to still get
