Owned my Civic three days and my girlfriend feels neglected.

I am getting some serious stick since i got Izabella... which is her name.

As in Italian (Which my girlfriend is) Bella means beautiful - for those of you who may not know. So its like Iz a beautiful haha.

Gotta get off ek9.org and need to stop reading Banzai and Total Honda or i fear the dog house awaits. :drool:
 
I've had this problem for the last 3 years dude :rolleyes: it doesn't get any easier :lol:

tell me about it. i had to put up with this sh** for three years finally she gave up...
*you car is too low,too bouncy,too loud,smell like gas,you love you car more than you love me.
 
dude my girlfriend nags me all the time about my car, i just hear her out but ignore the remarks and opinions :D haha
 
I seem to be one of a very few lucky men that managed to find a girlfriend that actually likes cars! My gf is a few years younger than I am and I suspect it is due to the age difference that I am the more sensible one. A ''heavily modded'' (= big wheels & stupid bodykit) MG ZR passed us the other day, I just ignored him and my gf started shouting - Catch him! Catch him! Of course, there's nothing I wouldn't do for her, so we humiliated him :D
 
Ah same problem :( but lucky my gf might be picking up her dc2 soon :)
 
got caught sayin: "sorry cant really take you out cos im short on cash" and i bought a carbon bonnet the next day. didnt get me hole for like 3 weeks after that:D:D:D
 
My girlfriend has grown to hate my car, this forum and trips to garages and meets :p :))
 
Well my wife is 11 yrs younger then me, but she's not into cars.
My wife: "I wish you dedicate so much time to me as you do for your car"
 
was in same boat,but now she loves honda's and likes bucket seats lol altho still moans about them alot to cant win
 
Its always nice to you know your not the only one :D

Cant wait till tonight, its the weekend and the first time i can spend a full couple days with a polishing machine and spounge.:D
 
i keep my car stuff seperate and over the weekend i dont go on the forum to keep the gf happy :) seems to do the trick :D
 
Yeah my gf moans about my car or me being on the forum 24/7 but I can't help it LOL
She soon shuts up when I hit vtec, either that or I just can't hear her over the tannabe cat back.:D
And she moans when its off the road and she can't come cruising.
Women eh!

i can only laugh at all the above posts as i no were all of you are coming from, i think i've heard nearly all of the same statements from my gf :lol: im lucky that she is also into cars as much as i am as she is on the forum for her c2 and does rallying like i do, so i think she takes a hand at me about my car just for the sake of it so it would only be rude for me not to do the same :D
 
Haha looks like everyone one is in the same boat. That all i gets is "Is that you on that forum again ??" and telling other people that i pay more attention to my car that her.

She has eased up a little after putting a dimond on her finger but i doubt that will last for ever Lol :)
 
the wife has given up!

she knows cars and tinkering with them are a big thing for me so im allowed to play:))

thats it now.... forget about any other car.......

it gets worse when you snap your head round at any Civic going past even if its completely **** you'll find your self thinking " nice little project "
