Out vented brakes?

Hi everyone. I've been doing some research for front disc brake replacement. So far most people seem to like Brembo and Centric discs over OEM, but they are basically the same.
Then I came across this EBC disc brakes:

I was wondering if anybody tried them. Theoretically the outer inlet for the dics vents get cooler air than if they would be in the inside, but it all seems a scam. So, what do you think?

I haven't used or heard much about ebc discs but mtec do good deals on discs... Might be worth looking into..
